Ok, I know it seems that the obvious answer would be to go bigger, but keep in mind that if you do that your heel comes out of the shoe a little every time you step. Both uncomfortable and annoying. sandals - go a half size down. If it's open toe, then it usually doesn't make that big of a different.
Heels or pumps - definitely go a size up. never go down!!
Boots - go a size up.
sneakers - depends. usually go up. it can be painful!
